New Orleans rap veteran, B.G., pleaded guilty to weapons charges in late December, and could face a stiff sentence. However, prosecutors have filed a motion to have his sentencing delayed.

The rapper (real name: Christopher Dorsey) is scheduled to be sentenced on March 14th, and faces up to 40 years in prison. However, probation officers are recommending that B.G. receive a sentence of 100 to 125 months, roughly eight to 10 years in prison, according to court filings.

According to NOLA.com, federal prosecutors are requesting a delay on the final judgement, signaling that they objecting to the sentencing guidelines.

Prosecutors noted that they've received information about rapper from fellow federal prosecutors in Southern Illinois. However, they have not revealed what that information is.

The judge has yet to rule on the motion.

The charges stem from a November 2009 arrest, when B.G. and another man were caught with three weapons, along with loaded magazines and two extended clips, while driving in eastern New Orleans.

New Orleans police said two of the three guns had been reported stolen and the car itself had been stolen from an Alamo rental car parking lot.

He was eventually indicted on weapons possession charges, and being a convicted felon, faces a lot of time. He was later charged with witness tampering after authorities found out he had another man sign a false affidavit claiming ownership of the weapons.

B.G. is currently being held behind bars as he awaits his sentencing.

He did this, despite the release of his God Forgives, I Don't LP being pushed back, due to his widely reported health episode in October. However, Ross surfaced weeks later with the hit mixtape Rich Forever, which is still in rotation today.

Although Nate Dogg passed away over a year ago, he's making headlines this week.

A woman has come forward claiming she owns a sex tape they filmed together and is shopping it around.

According to TMZ, an unidentified woman -- who says she was a former lover of the late singer -- claims to have a five-minute sex tape featuring herself and Nate Dogg, and is currently shopping it to various media outlets.

TMZ says they've seen the tape, which features "pretty much what you'd expect ... a lot of sex ... two different positions ... and a sexy Luther Vandross soundtrack."

In addition to media outlets, the woman is also shopping it to the "usual porn studios."

So far, no one has purchased the footage.

Singer Robin Thicke was reportedly arrested in Manhattan on Friday (February 17), and charged with marijuana possession when officers caught him smoking a joint.

According to the New York Daily News, the 34-year-old R&B singer was arrested by police when they spotted him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade at around 12:30 pm.

"He wasn't driving," a police source told the paper. "He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him."

Thicke was with one other person, but he was the only one arrested and charged.

He was reportedly cooperative, and even took pictures with officers and signed autographs.

At press time, it was unclear if the singer was booked at a nearby police station or if he was ticketed and allowed to leave.

He had not commented at press time.

Thicke dropped his fifth album, Love After War, back in December 2011.
